Self Portrait Jersey Zoo 2006

I have been a photographer for some years working, first, in traditional film and now digital I have not run a film through a camera for several years but I still have some film cameras and I keep promising to do it one day. I have done several other things along with photography from running my own Pub to training as a theatre practitioner at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital. I am a diehard (with the emphasis on Die) West Ham fan and nearly as passionate about wildlife conservation.

I love taking photos especially of people and amimals. All the images you see on this site are taken by myself and are presented with only the minimum of manipulation in Photoshop I tend to just stick to what I know and that means getting as much right in the camera as possible. I do shoot the occasional wedding but its not what I enjoy doing and I prefer to leave it to the guys who really know what they are doing in that department. I love to work with models and am very easy-going I tend not to have much of a plan (just ask my wife) and like to "Go with the flow" I find this approach works well as it creates a relaxed atmosphere which brings out the best in all concerned. I always encourage models to bring a chaperone or friend along especially for a first shoot as I find it is more comfortable for everyone.

I have a private project that is on-going which involves the Gothic community. I would like to, eventually, publish a book containing pictures and text on the whole Gothic image and lifestyle but it is a challange fitting the shoots in between other things.

Since setting up Wolf Photos in 2004 we have steadily grown working for individuals and organisations. We have experience of shooting in schools, at live shows, brochure images, in customers homes and in our own studio. I am always looking for models who want to improve their personal portfolios my rates are very reasonable but I will work on a time-for-prints basis if I think the idea is worthwhile.
